JOB INTERVIEW (preguntas frecuentes)
1- Tell me about yourself
Example:
“Currently, I work at “LA MAMMA Restaurant” as a hostess. I’ve been working there for two years now. My responsibilities include greeting and seating customers, assessing wait times, and answering the phones. I love the lively and busy environment of this Restaurant, and it has helped me learn how to multitask and manage my time efficiently. Before working at LA MAMMA Restaurant, I worked as a runner and waiter in a small restaurant for a year. These roles helped me develop my customer service skills and become more comfortable in a team-oriented environment. I’m looking to further develop my customer service and problem-solving skills as a hostess in a restaurant environment. I’m interested in your restaurant specifically as the employees have a great reputation for delivering first-in-class customer service while maintaining a lively and dynamic environment. Outside of work, I love baking and preparing dinner to my friends. While I enjoy these activities, they also help me refine my professional skills.”

Example:
“I always start by analyzing the situation to understand the root or cause of the problem. This allows me to develop a plan to follow an effective solution. I believe in taking a proactive approach, so I try to anticipate potential problems and develop plans to minimize their impact. If after one first attempt, the problem still persists, of course I would ask for help to superiors if I consider necessary. “
8- What are your salary requirements?
Example:
“I appreciate the opportunity to discuss compensation, and I’m open to finding a salary that is fair and competitive for the role. Based on my research of similar positions in the industry and taking into account my skills and experience, I believe a salary range of $X to $Y would be in line with industry standards.
